Magnetfishing with a fishing magnet

With this, you can retrieve treasures from the water. Choose your magnet from the many possibilities. The decisive factor will be the pulling power of the fishing magnet that you choose. Know that you need to take various factors into account. Suppose you want to lift a 15 kg bicycle out of the water. A magnet with a tractive force of 15 kg is then insufficient. Why? The frame of the bicycle is made of round tubes. Each magnet has a flat bottom. The contact surface of the magnet with the bicycle frame is therefore not fully utilised. Therefore, you need a more powerful magnet. If the object that you wish to retrieve from the water is covered by a layer of mud or sludge, it will be more difficult to retrieve it. The more space there is between the magnet and the object you wish to fish up, the less pulling power the magnet will exert on the object. All silt, underwater plants and other things that cover your object make a powerful magnet advisable.

You can choose between several fishing magnets. All magnets offered are canister magnets or pot magnets, as these concentrate the tractive force and are therefore 7 times stronger than unprocessed magnets.

You also have several choices when it comes to the design. Our experience shows that it is best to choose magnets with a threaded sleeve, threaded pin or with a countersunk hole. This way you can choose which type suits you best. When you choose a fishing magnet with a threaded bush or pin, you can mount an eye or an eye with a nut on it. If you choose a pot magnet with a countersunk hole, you can choose the size of your bolt and nut/eye.

In the first paragraph we already talked about the pulling power of fish magnets, which is greatly influenced by various factors. If the magnets come into direct contact with metal objects, they will be very difficult to release. Also beware of fingers, hands and feet! Do not make the mistake of putting body parts between the magnets or between the magnets and metal objects. A tractive force of 130 kg on one hand will shatter every bone.
